It was a magnificent evening in the John Paul II Aula of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wroclaw. On Friday, the 13th edition of the New Year’s Concert took place which featured the band Raz Dwa Trzy. The University has been supporting us for years and it was no different this time. The event was accompanied by an auction, which was led by the one and only Marek Obszarny.

Every little penny auctioned off here today will be spent on a cause, which cannot be converted into money, which is not listed on any market and which will not bring profit apart from that which matters most – kindness that changes people and the world – said the University’s Chancellor, prof. Jaroslaw Bosy, whilst welcoming the guests.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors, as well as the engagement brought in by all of the volunteers, a whopping 143 thousand PLN was raised during the concert. That massive amount will support all of our activities in 2022.

“Despite the cold outside, our star of the evening, band Raz Dwa Trzy, warmed up the crowd, who returned the favor with a standing ovation. The band played their biggest hits, including “Trudno jest nie wierzyć w nic”, as well as songs by Wojciech Młynarski or Agnieszka Ociecka in their own arrangements. The audience enjoyed the moving “Jeszcze w zielone gramy”, the amusing “Ballada o dwóch koniach” or a student hit, which never gets old – ‘Okularnicy’. In between of the songs, the lead singer, Adam Nowak, talked about fortune and tolerance. In a conversation with Katarzyna Kaczorowska, he also talked about kindness and how no-one should be afraid to ask for help” – states the event report published on the University’s website.
The full report and parts of the concert can be found on the website.
