On Monday evening we all met in the Odra Centrum to enjoy a concert of the Fungi Cantantes choir. The choir performed some of the most beautiful Polish Christmas carols and the performance was accompanied by a charity fundraiser for those under the care of our Foundation.
The choir was formed 6 years ago with a purpose of spreading joy to those who are in need. So far, the choir has performed in dozens of places, including prisons, homeless shelters or hospitals.
Odra Centrum is a fabulous place right in the middle of the biggest river of Wrocław. It is the first educational and cultural facility built on water, which hosts educational projects aimed at spreading knowledge of the Oder river as well as history, ecology and the environmental protection of rivers and water reservoirs. The facility also hosts cultural and social projects aimed at the development of local social identity.
