Support Group for Parents of Lost Children
WROCŁAW CHILDREN'S HOSPICE FOUNDATION
RUNS A SUPPORT GROUP FOR PARENTS OF LOST CHILDREN
SUPPORT GROUP INVITES ALL THE FAMILIES WHO WERE UNDER CARE OF WROCŁAW CHILDREN'S HOSPICE
One can experience the loss of a close person in many ways – physically, emotionally and spiritually. It's important to realize that these different reactions are natural part of the grief process. Everyone experiences their grief differently and, similarly, there's no unique way of dealing with it effectively.
Support group is one of the solutions created to help go through the grief process. Meetings bring in not only the sense of understanding and comfort, but also allow to find the way of dealing with loss through listening to stories of those who managed to overcome it. This may help to go through the grief process and finding one's place in their future life.
Families of lost children, who would like to join the support group, are welcome in the first place to schedule individual meetings with a psychotherapist. Such meetings are intended to prepare participants for future group sessions.
Individual meetings are run by a systemic psychotherapist.
Agata Hordecka – psychologist, systemic psychotherapist Runs psychotherapy for adults, couples and youth. She offers support in overcoming difficulties in relationships, depressive and anxiety disorders, crises, conflicts and emotional disorders.
